1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using PodHood ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
PodHood is an AI-powered podcast content repurposing and monetization platform that helps podcasters transform their audio and video content into multiple formats including blog posts, short-form videos, social media content, and more.
2. Description of Service
PodHood provides the following services:
- AI-powered content repurposing (transcription, blog generation, video clips)
- Instant podcast website with SEO optimization
- Built-in monetization tools (tips, memberships, premium content)
- Social media automation and scheduling
- AI community management features
- Analytics and reporting dashboard
- Multi-language translation (40+ languages)
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date
4. User Content and Intellectual Property
You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload to PodHood ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant PodHood a limited license to process, store, and transform your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to the content you upload and that your content does not infringe on any third-party rights.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates any laws
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Distribute malware or engage in hacking activities
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
- Use the Service for spam or unsolicited communications
6. Payment and Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as provided in our 60-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers.
For monetization features, payments are processed through Stripe. We take 0% commission on your earnings—you keep 100% of revenue minus standard Stripe processing fees (approximately 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction).
7. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period.
New subscribers are eligible for a 60-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 60 days, contact us at legal@podhood.com for a full refund.
8. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PodHood shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
